JMU Introduction

Established in 1952 under the governance of the Shandong Province government, Jining Medical University consists of two campuses Jining & Rizhao. The Rizhao campus is situated in a renowned coastal city, known for its scenic beaches, within China.

Incoming students will spend two years at Rizhao campus studying Basic Medical Sciences, followed by 4 years at Jining campus to complete their Clinical Medical subjects.
Since 2005, we have been enrolling overseas students for MBBS, and 19 batches of overseas students have already graduated. We take pride in achieving the highest passing ratio in the PM&DC/NLE USMLE & PLAB exam. Additionally, we boast an exceptional faculty comprising of excellent foreign teachers.
In 2008, the university achieved notable accomplishments in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching quality conducted by the Ministry of Education of China.

Scholarship & Fee waivers:
Performance based scholarship ,Students are eligible to receive a performance-based scholarship at the end of each academic year. Sixth-year fee waiver, students undertaking internships within their home country will have their sixth-year fees waived .

Special Note

1). The fee package does not cover expenses such as food, stationery,and other living costs.

2). The liaison fees are separate from the university fees,are charged by the organization responsible for handling the admission process and are non-refundable once paid.

3) The fee shall be payable in Chinese Yuan (¥),fluctuations in exchange rates may result in changes in the amount of the fee in US dollars.

4). Every year students are responsible for covering their own expenses, including visa fees 400¥ insurance 800 ¥.

5). In the case that students choose to depart before completing their studies or withdraw from the admission process their paid fees will not be refunded.

6). The university requires students to pay the full fee upon arrival otherwise accomodation in university hostel will not be provided.

7). Upon arrival students are required to pay a one-time hostel security deposit of 600 ¥.this amount will be refunded upon graduation.
